Rachel Hornsby is an affordable housing expert and skilled housing practitioner. Rachel has proven success in project delivery, developing strategy, stakeholder management, problem solving, and policy implementation.
Rachel has extensive experience in leadership positions across government and not-for-profit organisations including working with Boards and elected representatives. Rachel held executive leadership positions in local government before moving into the community housing sector in 2015.
In 2018 Rachel established an Affordable Housing consultancy Hornsby & Co. and has worked with more than 30 community housing organisations across Australia and New Zealand, supporting them to secure grant funding and grow their capacity.
Rachel holds a Master of Property from RMIT University, and a Bachelor Science (Honours) and Bachelor Arts from Monash University.
